Love the original game and loved 15, but the remake of 7 would have been better if they'd used the combat from 15. The combat in 7R is just a hack n slash with the occasional special ability. It was really nostalgic and graphically satisfying after all these years, but the story was drastically changed. Changed to be more in depth would have been fine, but it's not more in depth, it just changes plot points like, characters that died are now alive still. Like everyone else I was super excited for this game, but the map layout is awful and so many other aspects are just ok. If the game wasn't the FF Remake it would probably have an average review score around 6 out of 10. Honestly the way they handled the story as an FF7 Remake it deserves a 2.
