Malignant produced by James Wan and Michael Clear, I mean its fine its good that's the best a can say it's not a bad movie by any means but don't come into the movie thinking this going to be a really scary movie, Short answer its not the first half of the movie is a horror movie few little cheap jump scares and you see the main demon or bad guy of the movie. The second half then changes into an action movie were the demon/ bad guy turns into John Wick and the movie becomes a slasher film. Malignant is an extremely bloody movie so if you gore and seeing faces smashed in and heads cracked/ ripped open then this is a movie for you. I see the direction James was going with this movie and it worked pretty well until basically the ending, the ending was that great could have been better but it is what it is. I like a lot of James Wans horror movies like the Conjuring, Insidious and Saw there were definitely aspects of all three implemented into this movie I think this movie overall could have been better but its worth a watch. I'd rate it a 7/10 because the main story was pretty cool and James had a lot of hidden tricks up his sleeve and he used those tricks to make some pretty good visuals, the gore of the movie makes the movie fun, the only part I didn't like was when the demon became I more powerful John Wick and the movie became a slasher but other then that it pretty decent.
