All in all, I really liked this adventure. I think that it reads and plays differently than just about any other official adventure released for the 5th Edition.
That said, I think that this adventure is particularly “table dependant”. If your table is really focused on combat and prefers a grindier session involving battlemaps, miniatures, and rolling dice, then they will likely have trouble with the vague, whimsical nature of this module.
Even if your table loves roleplaying, exploration, and puzzles, I would still want to be upfront with them and let them know that this adventure actively looks down on combat in most circumstances. That way, players don’t show up with optimized combat builds and can have more fun in their character creation by purposefully choosing “suboptimal” character choices that are more about utility than actual effectiveness.
