I was in 6th or 7th grade when the first Zelda came out. Always been my favorite series. Link's Awakening takes me back. It is fun and not too complicated for my kids. However, I recently finished Breath of The Wild which is an absolute masterpiece that pushes the limits of what's technologically possible. I was erroneously hoping I'd get the same level of engagement. I don't. It's fun though and it's Zelda so I like it.

It's got a pretty decent premise. At times it's very slow. The couples in the show are all nauseatingly mushy (like teenagers) plus their lines are corny and the relentless soft core porn element is unnecessary and takes away from the show. I'm almost through season 1. I'm hoping the sci-fi thriller aspects pick up a little as it's getting kind of boring.
