The costumes are stunning and the scenes of the French countryside are wonderful, which makes it more of a promotional video then a moving drama.
In short it's boring. Seems like the phrase "let them eat cake" was the main highlight of the film.
Trying to spruce it up with a second rate modern soundtrack, I found rather pathetic. It really made me appreciate the music used of that period.
