Starting with the first episode, within minutes, The White Lotus manages to capture your full attention and this seduction continues to the final episode. The White Locust is not good....The White Locust is very good!!!!! Well written, wonderfully intriguing, fast and perfectly timed with an excellent cast, it's subtle sarcasm and storyline successfully touches on many present-day issues without drowning the viewer in endless and exaggerated arguments regarding what is and is not politically correct. It does not hold back and the end result is brilliant. The White Lotus is only disappointing in one respect. It ends in 6 episodes and leaves you desperately yearning for more. Without doubt one of the most entertaining series to be offered in a very long time.

A confusing, redundant, puzzling, endless, self-indulgent journey. Whatever the message is lost in the chaos. I guess one would have to be an actual participant to understand.

Superbly written ... exceptional acting... beautiful cinematography and intriguing story based on the life of an extraordinary artist.
