I was hyped when this game was marketed and released. Spyro is a timeless classic and the Trilogy remake of the first games do it justice.
The camera controls and spyro's movement controls feel different because it is a remake not a port. The game is wonderful in music, sound, and story. I had fun just like with the original. All the dragon given unique designs in the first game is a good enough selling point. It is all rebuilt in stunning cartoony graphics.
