Unlike their promo " the world has enough super heroes." Umm from what I watched..... Venom was a super hero from start to finish. Rated R would've definitely helped to portray Venom in a more anti hero role but all we ended up with was a kid friendly Venom which I personally was displeased with. Also how is a psychopathic cold blooded brutal murderer Carnage going to be represented as kid friendly?????? Help me here... The only good thing about this movie is they actually got the look of Venom correct, minus the spider logo but I was pleased, also the back and forth between Eddie and Venom was entertaining. But the kid friendly atmosphere kind of ruined it for me. In the end Sony was just trying to capitalize on a Marvel icon....
