SPOILERS FOR SURE.....
I’ve got mixed feelings. The ending left me wanting more only because it made no sense. Did they make it? Do they have to restart? And the part with the dad at the lake I feel didn’t really fit. I’m not sure what meaning it had.. I definitely thought Andrew was for sure a “bad guy/in on it” for a while. He literally knew everything. 😅 Kinda makes me mad the way they killed him off with no explanation as to what happened. Since everyone else’s was explained a little.. I would’ve liked the ending better if it wasn’t the same people going in, coming out. It was kind of obvious they were going to “make it” to the “end” Some of the movie does feel a little rushed, started off good and slow while piecing things together. I did like the loop. Future self and what not. When the girl handed her boyfriend the phone in the beginning and said something along the lines of that’s me but it’s not me helped me know that the loop was coming. Confusing and not confusing at the same time. Why wasn’t the “inventor” explored more? It doesn’t show what happened to these people in much detail or who did it to them. And if saying the “safe word” gets you pulled out of the game, but also killed, why wasn’t the daughter killed when she was screaming it in the cubby/morgue? I’d watch it again with the same questions and yearning for a little more parts explained. I do think it’s worth a watch. 🤷🏻♀️ BUT if you’re looking for a scare, you probably won’t get it. I wasn’t at all scared during this.
