I sacrificed my sleep, time and money,
bunked my lectures for the movie
i was so excited for, 'Kalank'.
While sitting in the theatre i could only hear
the breaking of my heart and high expectations
with each beat of the many songs in the First half of the movie.
They forgot to write the dialogues before the interval,
the movie runs through songs after song and
only showcases the beautified sets.
writing was pathetic,
somewhere in the middle you will be done
with the series of unnecessary song and
would beg for more dialogues,
more depth in the content that u expect from this kind of cinema,
but you will be deeply disappointed.
The film runs as fast as the bullet train in the first half of the movie
that you don't understand what's happening all around in the film.
Every scene is entirely different from one another before the intermission
When Finally the character starts talking to each other in the second half,
i felt the roles written was not complete enough for each Character,
everything looks so hollow.
The Star cast have done complete justice to their respective roles
but there was nothing more to give to the characters.
Madhuri's dialogues were still okay and her Character was still
impactful to an extent but that's it.
They could have done a lot, played with lots of emotions,
the story plot had so much to write about, but i don't know why?
Why the writing was so incomplete. Alia bhatt could give a lot to this movie
but again the Role wasn't written well.Everything looks so messed up
besides the Manish Malhotra Costumes and Amrita Naka's set.
After a while in the movie, I felt like ‘Tabah ho gye’,
speaking of the song,
it looks extremely good when you see it on a big screen
but then it was unnecessarily
there, just like many other songs in the film.
At last i would say, movie is nothing but a beautiful trash
and not worth watching apart from the beautification.
