Im just a begginner. This is the first novel i've ever read..honestly im glad i did. This book really changed my life..it changed my perspective about my life. And i ended up having puffy eyes while reading this masterpiece. The author has depicted the life of the afgans and the sufferings of the people especially the women and children who were affected the most when the taliban took over. The book never failed to surprise me with the heroic actions of mariam and laila.
I definitely recommend this book to everyone.
