The best actor is Louise Peterhoff, minimalist - (poise of the ballet dancer!). The main character is obsessive, slightly autistic, preoccupied. The hilarious assistant brings lightness. Great start: he is given a pool room as an office and the only staff is an apparently (wrong!) uninterested clerk and her dog - but a couple of disgraced police are later allowed! They form a useful team of individuals. The story takes on a huge task, trying to solve a series of quite different murders (conveniently blamed on one man). The directors must have a grudge against police corruption, because that's what gets exposed!
It is a puzzle; not going as expected. Not sure quite how it will end...
