Congratulations, Fox. You telecast the Eagles game during which they won the Division and made the playoffs despite dealing with a boatload of injuries throughout the season. Instead of allowing Eagles' fans to watch the team celebrate and show the Eagles/Giants coaches and players greet each other after the game, you immediately switch to the final 26 seconds of the Dallas game, now meaningless because the Eagles won the Division. Additionally, we got the bonus of watching those two teams mingle and congratulate themselves on the end of their season.
Then to follow through, what was the lead-in highlight for the postgame show? Of course it was the Dallas/Washington meaningless game highlights, followed later by the Eagles/Giants highlights.
Maybe you should consider a special broadcast of the Cowboys' whole season highlights, closing with the reminder that they didn't make the playoffs. You can then finish the show with Jerry talking about the candidates for his next coach and why it will be a tough decision for him to make since he already knows more about football than any coach he hires.
