This film blew me away. The music, story plot, visuals, every single actor were just immense. I've never cried so much ina movie since Saving Private Ryan. Emma Thompson and Alisha Weir (Matilda) were sensational. I'd give this 7 stars if i could. Went with my 2 girls and they adored it. PLease see this - adults, kids. A beautiful example of story telling within story telling. Bloody brilliant. Roald Dahl will be looking down with a big cheeky smile on his face

Beautiful script, Reynolds is a legend, actress playing millie is brilliant , stunning effects, awesome storyline, funny as hell, romantic but not cheesy, I can't recommend this enough

The nativity story we all know but the characters, the witty sharp script, the soundtrack, the poignancy, the drama, the focus on human endeavour to overcome setbacks is just beautiful.
