In 1996 I became very interested in this place called Truk Lagoon and it's shipwrecks. I began gathering charts, books any information I could about Truk and WW 2 and a hard copy of this book was one of the books I purchased. I was terrible about just sitting down and reading a book, however once I began reading this book I couldn't stop until I was done and I read it a few more time over the next two years before putting together an expedition which took place in Feb 2000. My copy made the long trip with us. This book is so informative those interested in this area of our history.
