I went in to the movie not really knowing what to expect. As a huge MCU and Marvel comics lover i was not hyped up at all. Im usually the first to buy the tickets the moment they go on sale for the thursday night show but instead i bought them the night before. TBH should have just made a black widow film. 10/10 would have rather had that. Captain Marvel is definitely not the best MCU film thats been made, it just lacked. Im not sure what but it felt kinda empty. That being said, i did thoroughly enjoy it. I loved seeing young phil and nick, and goose the cat really did steal the show. All in all, i definitely think everyone should see it at some point, its good, not great, and definitely wont have you at the edge of your seats like Winter Soldier did (IMO) but for what its worth its still an MCU film and I've yet to be completely disappointed with one :)
