the book is interesting but kaunda clinged on to power for 27 years after zambia gained independence, he crumbled the economy and undermined the essence of democracy in his country, you should have that in mind while reading the book, because after Zambia became free from apartheid they needed to become free from this same man, so to me, he is more of a devil than a saint.
