Look, I get the whole "violence is bad and the cycle of revenge continues" theme in the game, but they should have used a whole different game and setting for it, with new characters. Joel and Ellie are characters that we are emotionally invested in and love dearly, and then Naughty Dog COMPLETELY disrespects them; for one, Joel is not a trusting man at all, and he's BEEN THE BAD GUY, so why would he give out his name so easily ( especially considering how he reprimanded Ellie for telling Henry and Sam her name so easily ) right after going out of his way to save some random strangers KNOWING that 99.9% of people in the apocalypse want to kill you? And, secondly, Joel survived stab wounds, gunshots, beatdowns with bare hands, pipes, and many many more dangerous weapons but he gets taken down by a big man-lady on steiroids with a GOLF CLUB??? So disrespectful. And then, at the end, after Ellie goes out of her way to kill Abby by slaughtering dozens of people and going basically through the fiery underworld, she SPARES ABBY. What about those many, many other people she killed? and what about the literal HUNDREDS or even THOUSANDS of people Ellie and Joel massacred in the first game? are they coming after Ellie in some BS The Last Of Us Part 3?? Ridiculous. On a side note, the graphics are very nice, which is why it gets a two-star rating instead of one star.
