The book was much better than the movie and if you hadn't read the book you would not have understood the movie as well. In retrospect I think it was difficult to create a movie around the book. The acting was fine but the movie was choppy and it left out a lot of important data that I think was necessary to the plot. I was really looking forward to seeing the movie but after seeing it I am very disappointed
