I hadn't been to the cinema in years as I work long hours and can't take time off but decided to treat myself to the new copolla movie. I can't overstate how bad this movie is. It's dreadful. It's sad that people will humour copolla and allow him to waste all of his money on this, imagine the poor people in the world that he could have helped with the millions he spent making this. Sad.

Great movie, very funny doesn't take itself serious at all.

Beautifully shot and acted but the story let's it down. The premise of madness and isolation could have been fleshed out a bit more, it's as if the story writing was never fully formed . Very predictable also. It never tries to be great, but rather settles for hipster gloss and vintage styling which make the overall movie feel about as genuine as a sea shanty by the Decemberists.

Not terrible, but not memorable either. Weak characters and unrealistic interactions/scenarios. The cinematography lacks texture or depth, which matches the overall shallowness of the plot. I wasn't expecting much but in reality what I witnessed could barely be classified as a movie.

One of the few TV shows that actually matter. The quality of this production and attention to detail is awesome. Great work by all involved!

Evil dead rise is not for me. I have been a fan of the evil dead movies for over 30 years. This movie is not an evil dead movie. I wasn't happy with the use of kids in peril, that's new to the evil dead and not welcome. The evil dead has always been a timeless movie series, in that there was a specific attempt to not use fashion or styles which would date the movie over time. evil dead rise is very much of its time and it will date very badly. Finally, it's very predictable and I found myself bored. Pity.
