The game is largely unfinished and lacks polish. The animations are lackluster. The writing is shamelessly flat and constantly contradictory. The framerate and render distance for the game world make it almost impossible to immerse yourself in the pokemon world. To be one of the best selling franchises in the world, this game reads as a cash grab through and through. The unfortunate part of this game is that the actual pokemon combat is fun and the character designs are really good. Overall I'd give it a 4/10, it's really held back by the poor quality animations and the terrible storytelling.
