Halfway through season two. Very likable cast and lighter police story. Excellent chemistry. As others have commented, the background music gets distracting...reminds me of Grey's Anatomy w too much reliance on music to set the pitch. Definitely a worthy binge.

Such a disappointment considering the first movie was pretty well done suspense. The plot and writing were awful. Ethan Hawke...you're an A list actor now, you can't do crap like this. This was more like watching Nightmare on Elm Street part13. My girlfriend said I fell asleep but I didn't miss any plot points. Same repetitive stuff still going on and introduction of fringe characters who made no sense. Don't bother unless you just need to get out of the house.

Decent but a little old hat plus Kristen Bell looks anorexic and washed out.

Well written and acted. Season one started slow but then picked up plot development. Im not liking the prominence of Felicity Hoffman's character so far. They just threw this character in there without much background and no references to her in season one. Overall excellent show.

Got a bad rap in a year with a lot of heavy hitting movies. Definitely worth watching. First 70 minutes is pretty interesting, and I thought the two leads had chemistry. People pick on Jessica Alba bc she's so darn beautiful. Meryl Streep she ain't but she was convincing in this role which showed a .ore complex or deeper side. This is not an action movie, so don't expect one. Still, it's suspenseful.

I've read nearly every Bosch book and all of the Ballard books. Bosch was such a great series that it was hard for Ballard or even Bosch Legacy to meet expectations. I know they want Ballard to stand on her own but maybe they should have had a few more.scenes w Bosch...the books gave him a much greater presence. Maggie Q is very good as she was in Nikita. Colleen was well cast. Need more back story on the others. Also might have gone more into how the cold case unit was revived and Ballard preferring nightshift. Like diversity but making a male cop over 55 gay is a reach...don't try to placate everyone. Overall good effort for season one but I might have gone w the storyline from one of the other books. Worth watching but don't expect it to reach the level of the original Bosch series.

Like the diversity of contestants and the sets and scenery. You can tell from the shallow conversation that these folks text as their primary means of communication. All the tattoos and big eyelashes! Well...I guess it's appealing to a lot of people.bc they're on season 7.

Watched the show (or most of it) during the original run and rewatched it recently in 2025. It really stands the test of time. Very well written and acted. Certain seasons are better than others and the Hollywood writers' strike had an impact on the series...a couple of arcs that would have gone differently w the first team writers. SPOILER: the Susan-Mike on and off again got old and then the unnecessary way they wrote him out in the last season was tacky. Eva Longoria was very funny and excellent. Bree and Edie were well acted. I'm not surprised to see so many negative remarks about the Susan Meyer character. She was funny in season one but then frustrating. People always praise Madmen and Breaking Bad as tops in the 2000s but this show is right there as well while having to deal with major network bureaucracy and heavier episode count.

This was a very creative concept, and the first two seasons are very entertaining and humorous. Then, of course, when something is successful, the writing switches to hey...how.long can we drag this out. Don't want to give spoilers but the last season was two and half stars at best. They dropped a Time jump in there and (I know this will be unpopular) a totally unnecessary and distracting LGBTQ relationship that came out of nowhere and did littlenif anything to add to the show. Excellent acting throughout.

Bosch Legacy continues the excellent production from the original series. Smaller cast so far. Would prefer no ads but if it makes it more profitable and increases the run of the show, I can live w it. They already renewed for season two and I don't think that would have been the case without the freebee or whatever platform. Wish they'd drop all shows at once but at least they did several to start. 2025 Seasons 2 and 3 were better than one. Maddie becomes the central figure in many ways and Honey Chandler gets more civic minded. Not sure why they are canceling bc stories are.strong. Noticed some Easter Eggs in last two episodes memorable lines from Godfather and Godfather 2 spoken by characters. Series is worth watching.
