I thought and thought about it And finally made up my mind to write about it. Recently I have become sort of K drama addict, but this one really stood out. Son ye- jin 's potrayal of Yoon jin a made me write this. I could relate to Yoon jin a at many levels. Been a polite pleaser all her life, push over and unmarried till 35 years . Though most reviews spoke about the love story and chemistry between the lead pair. For me, it's a transformation story of Yoon jin-a from being a timid, people pleaser to this bold, decisive, independent woman who finally came out of her shell and decided to take her life in her own hands both professionally and personally. The motivation clearly came from her boyfriend Jun-hui( supposed to be ten years younger to her) but nevertheless it changed her from within. The ending may not be idealistic as most of the movies / series would show justice prevailing in the end, parents accepting the love affair overnight but it was practical. In reality, rarely we see people changing or giving up on their core beliefs easily. Corporate world is ruthless and Parents are adamant on their beliefs for their own reasons but what matters in the end, is you stood up for what you believed in and fought for it irrespective of the results!
