It was a complete copy of Star Wars: A New Hope. I grant that taken by itself the movie wasn't bad. It had parts in it to like and parts to dislike, like any normal movie. But anyone who has seen the first Star Wars movie, knows J.J. Abrams did NOTHING new with this movie, and its success is based almost solely on nostalgia and a proven, legendary, and USED storyline.
