One of, if not the greatest film ever made. It might not be the most popular opinion to think that "2001" isn't Kubrick's greatest, but I really think this is superior in a lot of ways. Maybe not in the cinematography, but in just about every other. This movie is a constant warning for our future, which continues to become the present every day. I've noticed the people who don't like this movie chose not to think about what it means, because it made them uncomfortable. If you are used to this sort of thing in the films you watch, I can't recommend this one enough. It is one of the most thought provoking and meaningful movies of all time. There's no other even remotely like it.
