Living in New Zealand we generally enjoy the show, especially the contrasting 'Aussie classes' of people featured.. The scripted responses to various situations are amusing, crass at times but mostly relative. However the recent Great Britain show, featured some touristy past times most people would avoid - an assault course for instance! Touristy?? No way! Another 'set up' was the young immature country girl and her brother sampling a warm beer - It is centuries old beer style - NOT LAGER!!. Almost as crass as the gay couple that were alllowed to mention 'whinging poms back in australia'. Totally unnecessary on a travel show BUT it is Australian and even us Kiwis understand a crude resurfacing? (or elderly script writers freedom to ignore PC expression) Ocker Image from days of old... Watchable - depending on location.

Half way thru and amazed at the lame script, wooden acting, lightweight concrete props, unreality... CAN'T believe people put money into this

I watched this (in New Zealand) for the first time accidentally, as it followed on from the morning show program, when I was about to switch off. Unfortunately the Presenters (Northern English accent) delivery was not up to scratch and the overuse and creepy sycophantic referencing to 'Angela' FIVE TIMES in the fake chit chat piece, was quite disturbing. Perhaps Jason Manford thought she had forgotten her name? Because he said it a further two or three times.......... Sadly I could not watch the format any further than the Angela bit.

Couldn't believe he just clambers aboard to sail away, without so much as a pat on the head, for his kids, or a mere farewell kiss for his wife. Terrible oversight...
