I have always loved Judge Judy ... so has my mother, and my daughter, and hopefully HER daughter as well (she's still a baby -- time will tell). The show is entertaining. I'm amazed at what a lot of the plaintiffs feel are cases, enjoy the ignorance of many of the plaintiffs and defendants, and am impressed by how Judge Judy sees through the nonsense and tells it like it is! But it's so much more than entertainment. I have learned so much just by listening to Judge Judy explain things to the litigants that I am pretty sure I'll never wind up on her show. Too bad ... I'd love to meet her (and Officer Byrd) and thank her personally for making me as smart as she is in one finger. By the way ... although I really am 5'7", I'm not 39 and gorgeous (as the good judge often quips), but that's not nearly as important as having a good head on one's shoulders.
