I connected with the movie. I lived in the area for several years. I worked and surfed up and down the coast and appreciated the beauty of the wetlands. Off season was somewhat lonely with a touch of meloncholy. A.C. was a great shore resort in the 50s and 60s. The movie however depicts the seedier side representing its eventual decline after the advent of the casinos. I left the area prior to it's decline. The wetlands, however, remain relatively unchanged as they have been thru the years.
