What a waste of opportunity that could revive Front Mission franchise. SE hired Yoji Shinkawa who well known from MGS / ZoE franchise as characters designer and also Armored Core director who has a lot of experiences handling mecha game. But SE didn’t give them enough budget or time to make a polished and fun game. The game itself wasn’t completely bad. It has some nice ideas but the execution just really bad as if they’ve been rushed to complete it. RIP Front Mission 😭

Pros: - There’s more meat in the story compare to previous Doom and i really like it. Sure there’s no character development for the Doom guy or all those poor demons. It still “rip and tear!” from start to finish but it’s just nice how they explain the lore and put more meat to it that span from the first Doom to Eternal. - I love Doom 2016 gameplay as well the classic ones. But Eternal gameplay makes previous games like a child play. Now it is much faster, more brutal, and more tactical that requires players to moves a lot with grapple hook + new weapons. The platforming also encourages players to do more exploration and it have a lot of nice rewards. - The music just top notch! 👍 - Lots of replay values from different skin like classic Doom, customize weapons skins, unlocked classic Doom 1 & 2, etc. Although i’m not yet try the MP but the campaign + horde mode worth every penny. Cons: I can’t think of anything that can reduce the score. Conclusion: Doom Eternal raise the bar for FPS genre. So, if you love FPS games then buy this game! 👍👍

Pros: Love the top down view, the cyberpunk setting, the music, and the combat feels challenging but fun and satisfying. The story has a nice plot twist although it felt a bit short. Cons: The red color that dominates like 85-90% of the game makes my eyes tired. Conclusion: If you love top down action games with sci-fi / cyberpunk setting then this game is a must play. I hope they make a sequel. It seems there’s more they can explore with the story / characters.
