Was watching the episode on Oct 9, 2019, where they show Ma Sati/Dakshayani, Adi Parashakti's 1st incarnation, pleading with her father Daksh Maharaj to invite Lord Shiva for the Brihaspati Yagna.
In this episode, Lord Shiva is shown as Neelkanth - the blue throated. Really, Samudra Manthan before Sati immolation?
What is the source, which purana is the basis of this episode being shown? As far as i have read and known, after Ma Sati immolates herself in the yagna kund, Adi Parashakti is reborn as the daughter of Himavan and Mena as Ma Parvati. It is this Ma Parvati who is with Lord Shiva during Samudra Manthan. SO, Lord Shiva could not have blue-throated during Ma Sati's time.
Also, because of the inversion of Samudra Manthan episode and Sati immolation, Kali Purusha is shown during Sati’s lifetime, having a hand in Lord Shiva’s & Ma Sati’s insult? What is the source, which purana, is the source of this story?
I think in all fairness, the producers should state the source, the Purana source, of each episode at the beginning of the episode. That will lead to less confusion among the veiwers
