Zack Snyder's Justice League is truly a masterpiece. It is very clearly a labor of love and brings to light not only to allowing directors to have more control, but also suicide awareness in regards to the late Autumn Snyder. What happened was a tragedy and because of it as well as studio meddling, Snyder had to leave the original project. It's only fair to give him a chance to see his vision realized and give respect to his daughter. You can feel that respect, that love, all throughout the movie, especially in regards to Cyborg's character arc.
This cut of the film does a lot to fix the original theatrical cut. Not only is it 2 hours longer, but its pretty much a completely different movie and experience that just so happens to hit a few of the same narrative beats we already know. This time however, its extremely well fleshed out, the characters actually matter and have weight to them. And the inclusion of Darkseid gives the entire film this forboding sense of something bigger, grander even. Also, it is very emotional. I probably teared up at least 3 times. As someone who grew up with the Bruce Timm animated DC properties, this was utterly perfect.
