Having literally just finished the show, and genuinely loved it, not knowing anything about the previous show. Was really disappointed it’s not more well received, but the negative critics are basically because they’re expecting a live action version or the original, apparently nothing like original FYI. Anytime you remake something and offer up a different version, you’ll be disappointed. I loved the powerful women aspect and the badass nature of it. Effects are pretty cool for a series. I can totally see this series evolving and providing character development and evolving i to what you’d expect. It’s only just starting. Really hope it continues. I was hoping it was based on a book series but doesn’t look like it. Oh well. Just keep an open mind and see the potential. The characters actually didn’t get on my nerves, so that’s saying something.
