I'll give it that the drama and the plot of the show. But when I watch a show about space that is advertised to showcase the struggle that the first manned mission to Mars is supposed to overcome, I didn't expect to be presented with a show about the challenges of an astronaut mother juggling family life and work. I was expecting to see a team facing the harsh and known obstacles that a manned journey to Mars would present. Even the very fact that gravity seems to randomly turn on and off half way in space is the placed at the bottom of my questions. The lack of an approach from a physics standpoint makes the going to Mars part of the plot be almost unnecessary. Really disappointed.
