I thought it was a fun and colorful retelling of the story. Hathaway was an eccentric genius and Spencer was granny GOLD. Chris Rock was a great story teller, definitely fun and worth watching over again and again.

This movie is a delight from beginning to end! The costuming, the music, the choreography. The story itself is warm and beautiful. I found myself cheering and tearing up. Definitely a new holiday favorite.

I love this film. It isn't as lovely as the book, when are they ever, but it is just so beautiful to watch visually. The fictional idea of the romance and awakening brings the painting to life. Adding spice to a perhaps boring man with a brilliant eye.
