Woof… couldn’t make it through half of the first episode. Very tone deaf. Talk about rich white people problems….cannot relate in any way.

we’re at a point in the ‘nostalgia gouge’ where they’re not even trying with the content they put out anymore. I think they know people are getting stupider and they’re actually preying upon that because they’ll throw in all your favorite characters in the background just for you to have 15 minutes of your childhood back. YOUVE SEEN THIS BEFORE: it’s Wreck It Ralph, Ready Player One, Avengers, Scoob—all over again. “‘Member all these characters?? You love all these characters.....bring money” This was callback after callback of every Warner franchise and all of it felt so out of place. Like I know the first space jam was awkward, but this was an abomination. I shouldn’t be thinking of other movies while watching another movie. It was awful. If your a dad who “liked it because my kid liked it”; he’s 5, you’ve got Stockholm syndrome and he’s turning your 40-something year old brain to mush. Don’t let 2021 Gaslight you into watching more terrible movies that are actually just giant advertisements. They’re setting the bar low on purpose so they can get lazier with their content.

Bummer. I was really excited about this one. It has a few funny moments, celebrity cameos, and nostalgia gouge, but what felt like a good opportunity, felt like another Tyler Perry awkward family-reunion movie. ...Like I’ve seen this movie before. Felt like they came to America for like one or two scenes and the rest is sort of took place in Rick Ross’ mansion. Tons of scenes from the original movies used... shouldn’t there be a rule against that? Costume design looked like it had a lot of work put into it. I really wanted to like this movie, but I felt after seeing all the promoting for it, I just knew....
