I wish everyone would read this book. Whether you are a man or woman being fat shamed, whether you are any woman (and that is enough), or if you are gay, disabled, or any minority (though not specifically mentioned in the book), this book will speak to anyone who has been excluded or discriminated against in some way and hopefully to those who have discriminated or made fun of those who are in those positions. Lindy’s words ring true regardless of who you are. I applaud her for not only being her awesome self but also for empowering others through the messages she shares. I’m an average sized, white, middle class American woman, and Lindy brought up situations to which I have either related to or those that made me think twice about my own past actions or thoughts. Give this book a read...I do not think anyone will be disappointed. At the very least, everyone can stand to hear her message in one way or another.
