This movie is certainly one of my local bests with considerable realism. A bit of semblance with Nairobi Halflife in terms of street life, but spiced by the romantic plot. Choice of characters was well thought out. What makes it stand out even more is that it's one of the production where the male character has self-assertion, which is not very common with current filmography. The fact that Hinga can actually take the courage to face the unknown with a slum girl is a major plus. A sequel ought to be considered as a follow up on the controversies and conflicts that are imminent from the consequences of Hing's choice. Viewers may be interested in how Ciru handles the rejection as well as Hinga's father's disappointment (hence emergence of new characters). Pertinent issues such as self-confidence, philanthropy, integrity and perseverance could form powerful sub-themes. Another plus is the all too-often elusive element of conflict resolutions. Kudos.
