I have to respectfully disagree with my fellow post people...... This show does exactly as intended and quite frankly, does it well. If anyone can channel Alexis Carington and the like, Robin Givens has done it. Soapy? Yes. Dramatic and irreverent? Yes. Its my understanding that was the intention, thus my reference to the 80's super villainess. I grew up in the age of Dallas, Dynasty and Falcon Crest, so this fills that niche for this "40 something ".
