Hugh Grant has infectious fun playing against type in Heretic, a religious horror that preaches the gospel of cerebral chills over cheap shocks.

The plot is simple and not particularly engaging, missing the charm and warmth of the original. That said, if you're a Lilo & Stitch fan, it's worth a watch for nostalgia and a few good laughs. It's nothing special, but it has enough heart to keep the ohana spirit alive—even if it stumbles along the way.

This film is gorgeous, thoughtful, and contains multitudes within it. There's a sweet romantic storyline here, but more than that, I think this is a contemplation of the human experience. It's a reflection on the choices we make and where they take us.

Poor Things is a film about innocence, about discovery, about human nature. It makes us question the way we view things, the way we censor behaviour, the way we impose societal norms upon each other, and how seeing those norms disregarded can be both disturbing and exhilarating
