Scot Man

I know it’s hugely popular with some, but I guess I’ve seen around 400 movies at the cinema and I’ve walked out of two… and Shaun of the Dead was one of them. I didn’t find it remotely funny or interesting in any way. Think I lasted until around the hour mark before heading home. Incidentally, Into the Woods was the other film I walked out of! (terrible songs, strange film in general… and James ‘The Ego’ Corden was in it!).

Pity you can’t give zero stars! Quite possibly the worst movie I’ve ever seen. The acting was terrible, with the attempts at a Scottish accent bordering on offensive to people that are actually Scottish. It also features just about every unrealistic Scottish cliche/stereotype you can think of. I made it as far as the painful rendition of Loch Lomond and had to stop watching before I threw something at the tv! I’ve never watched a movie that annoyed me so much! hehe

Have watched QoS for about 40 years, as a sports fan it was always a comfortable and easy watch. The new format, with Paddy McGuiness hosting, is simply rotten. Completely lost the charm it had, trying too hard to be funny… and the format is messy, cheap and loud. Oh well, it used to be one of my favourite shows, no plans to watch again.

One of only two movies I’ve ever walked out of. Didn’t like anything about it - poor songs and performances. Just didn’t get it at all!
