Borat 2 has a few good moments and most of the scenes between him and his daughter are funny and sometimes genuinely heart warming. It is a shame that most of the film is a one sided attack against Americans in general, especially those on the side of Trump.
It was clearly rushed into production as a last minute distraction to aid Biden as, whilst it reveals a horrific scene with a certain New York mayor,(that, if genuine should be prosecutable!) it is clear that they were only hunting Republicans and that the propaganda is more important than an actual cohesive narrative or balance, especially given Biden's live on TV molesting of children and teenagers that is never once mentioned.
Overall, it is a pretty bad film and a shame as there are clearly some very talented people in it.
The last few digs at American society in particular are the most hurtful and obviously signal Sacha Baron Cohen's full allegiance to the new woke media.
A missed opportunity in my opinion, especially as I loved the first film and the TV show and was really looking forward to a respite from all of the politics... oh well.
