Cabrini was the best movie I have seen in a very long time. Having grandparents of Italian heritage that came here around the same time as she did , I now know what they had to go through to make it in NYC. I have always been told the stories of the hardships my grandparents had to endure but to see it first hand is amazing. She was amazing and the movie must be seen by everyone that had no idea how hard it actually was to come here and make a life for their family. The movie was excellent and I'm waiting to see it get awards and recognition for it. They worked hard, the living conditions are exactly like my Nana described, although they became citizens, bought land and fought hard to make a name for themselves. When I came along my grandparents owned the 8 apartment building we lived in, and my papa worked 7 days a week and saved money and purchased land upstate so his grandchildren had a summer home that he built with his own hands. This movie made me humble to see what they went through. Treated worse then the rats. I wish I could give it more then a 5. She was truly a saint.
