Watch a lot of true crime dramatisations and sad to say, had to give up by Episode 3.
The flow is disjointed, flipping between period scenes, visions in Ed Geins mind and the making of Psycho. It feels like they didn't have enough factual material to fill 8 Episodes so they just added tons of filler.
And that's if you can even get past lead actor Charlie Hunnams' Barney Rubble impression.
Looked forward to this but just could not watch any further.

Brilliant characters. Well acted with dark humour. Easy to watch, but too far fetched and unrealistic for me.
Can't say too much without spoilers, so I'll just say their police methods just wouldn't happen.
If you like a good piece of melodrama this is for you. If you prefer something a bit more grounded, you probably won't like it.

Well acted.
Interesting gritty story.
Filmed in a single shot adds a sense of realism but, with each episode playing out in real time, it is slow.
It's watchable and powerful, but could have been told in half the time.

2 of 3 episodes in and struggling to keep interest. Slow plot, stiff dialogue and pretty poor acting from unlikeable characters.
Missing the charm and intrigue I was expecting from an Agatha Christie, very disappointed.

Amazing story. Great first hand accounts from both sides of the event. But for some reason just didn't hold my attention.
Even with dramatised footage, personally, just didn't get any idea of the scale or danger they were in.
