This show is actually terrible. How are there people who enjoy this? I was cringing probably 90% of the time. There is just way too much try-hard script and everything feels so forced. It's one thing to be inclusive and appropriate, but this show is trying to squeeze in every controversial/inclusive/etc. topic they can and it comes across as not being genuine at all. The show was already ahead of its time and so successful as it was, why try to force more into it just to say that you did it? This new show should never have been made, it's so upsetting too as I was looking forward to it and have been let down with how corny it is.
