This movie just looks like Disney’s attempt in making and AI generated film. We deserved soooo much better for Disney’s 100 year anniversary and this was just not it. Not only was the animation lacking, the plot and songs were just so mediocre. The villain songs in Disney usually are sooo amazing and just make you kinda wanna be on their side but this one? “I let you live here for free and I don’t even charge you rent”? It’s so bad. We were given songs like “Friends on the other side”, ”Mother knows best”, and “Be prepared” just to name a few, songs that are bops even without their movie. To be given such a terrible song alone was a huge disappointment. Animation wise, it was fine. The main thing I had issue with personally was how stiff everything felt. I feel like if they went with the original idea of 2d animation it would’ve been better. I can see younger kids, especially those under 10 getting into it but even then some just straight up don’t like it either. Disney really needs to go back to making their banger movies instead of trying to make every single movie like Encanto or Moana. It’s not gonna happen. Both movies made sense because they were new where as Wish just felt like a sad attempt to copy them without the actual plot. Overall, a disappointing 2/10. There is definitely worse but this just didn’t hit like other Disney movies have unfortunately.

I LOVED the movie. Honestly it got a lot of hate because it wasn’t based on the game when it’s actually mostly based around the books. Did I adore every little detail? Obviously not. There’s always gonna be stuff fans aren’t 100% on but for a movie based on games and books and soooo much more? It was perfect. It’s rated PG-13 so obviously there wasn’t gonna be a ton of gore but what we got was honestly right on the nose. It didn’t need to go overboard and it didn’t. Graphics were amazing and I love the little details they added in from the book series.
