Myriad of characters, many more back stories & to some an overly long book but I enjoyed every minute. Despite being keen to find out "who dunnit" didn't want it to end & I was surprised by who the killer was. The complexity of the book, means that re-reading is still pleasurable. The tantalising possibility of romance between Robin & Comoran is also pleasurable.
JK Rowling did not express any ant-trans comments.
I can't wait until the next Strike book.
I've enjoyed the TV Strike series, particularly the casting of the main characters but they never manage to show the complexity of the books. I worry that troubled Blood will be more difficult transfer to the screen, however, I'll still be keen to see it.
