TLDR: if you enjoy an amazing story and well developed characters that you can care about then this game is 100% for you.
The game itself starts out a little slow, I would say for about 2 hours, then it picks up very fast. You’ll begin unlocking better weapons and bike parts. Also as you go the map opens up and stronger enemies appear. “Hoards” as the game calls them, are some of the most challenging and terrifying enemies in gaming, and will require at minimum some planing in advance even at the easiest difficulty setting. I personally never ran into any technical issues, but apparently there are some, but then again, what game doesn’t have some.
Overall, the story, the characters, combined with the peaceful environment and the wonderful gameplay have honestly made this one of my favorite games of a the last 5 years. And I hope they make a sequel possibly in a more urban setting. However the current rural setting fit the bike wonderfully.
I’ll be honest though, the rippers and their story are a little over the top and feel out of place making it probably the weakest point in the game. I won’t complain if they’re just forgotten about in a sequel
