Great Gameplay, Great setting, good characters, Basim is not a in-depth and fleshed out character compared to fan favorites such as Altair, Ezio, Bayek or Edward Kenway however he does have a story in which the character has gone through his fair share of troubles which leads him to the Assassin's order. AC Mirage does its best to tell his story and does so in a way gamers can enjoy, but it is not a 10/10 game like Ac2, Ac1, Ac Black Flag or AC Origins, it is a 8.5-9/10 game, the gameplay brings back old elements of social stealth, original eagle vision and multiple tools to use, the animus glitch and teleportation thing was a bit weird.
I just wish his character wasn't an antagonist, at times he shows promise of being a protagonist however a troubled one, you have to play this game to see ultimately where he ends up, Valhalla gamers will know where it goes, Ubisoft well done it is a start, if you keep this formula you will perhaps win back the original fan base, you know the ones that actually played this game since 2007 and actually helped you get the accolades with assassin's creed you have today.
The core fan base and a majority was lost after the original Juno plot was ended in a sour way without much explanation except a comic however, this new story line with multiple plots and twists can provide something well.
AC Mirage has amazing outfit choices and dyes are back as well which I was pleased about, the game is just 20 hours and that's fine, I can see Ubisoft wanting to go back to basics, I think making the games between 20-50 hours should hit the sweet spot.
Overall it's a good game.
