It was good to see a lot of familiar things and Anthony Mackie carried this whole movie,but it was so much exposition and the climax did not feel like the climax of a movie It felt like the battle before the big battle. And they started winding down the movie I was like oh wait that was it?? Don't forget to watch The incredible hulk from 2008 before you watch this. Also Harrison Ford was not a good casting choice for replacing a deceased actor who played a morally questionable character. I literally kept forgetting that we may not be on Harrison Fords side because he's always the good guy. Postcredit sequence was not as profound as they wanted it to be. There were five writers. They made that mistake with one of the Spider-Man movies and it was arguably the weakest one of the trilogy. You can tell the Russo Brothers haven't been around for a while.

The movie poster makes you think it's a horror movie with that scary looking girl. This movie tells you things, it doesn't show you anything. The narration needs to go. We are told the Herdmans are bad in a list and with sinister music cues, the blonde girl seems to be an ally with the main girl until her mom shows up and apparently they're not friends. We don't see how Judy Greer's character is incapable of running the pageant, we are told. The plot is all over the place and the pacing is pretty bad. It's pandering to Christians who think there's a war on the true meaning of Christmas. Also what decade is this set in?

I'm not even mad that it took this long to give me a black widow movie because it's that good

I'm supposed to believe that Chris Evans is a parent of a teenager? I love Chris but terrible casting. The mom and the son are believable but Chris seems like an older brother. I think none of the characters have chemistry or personality. Am I supposed to care about the kid or wonder if he's innocent? Or wonder why he did it? Are we really using the murder gene explanation? And it's a ton of filler. Should have been a movie like how it was originally pitched.

Satisfying at times, but the Endgame for some characters, was extremely disappointing.
