As a Donna Leon afficionado I am unwilling to switch my allegiance from Venice and Commisario Brunettei, so I will add Tom Benjamin and Daniel to my repertoire. Well written, fast paced with twist and turns in the plot to engage interest as memories of Bologna return in the locales depicted.. Yes, a rewarding read and I’ll be on to his second book soon.
